Artist in Residence, Committee for the Commemoration and Study of Slavery in Rhode Island
Rhode Island played a key role in the institution of slavery and the transatlantic slave trade. As artist-in-residence at the University of Rhode Island, I worked with the Committee for the Commemoration and Study of Slavery in Rhode Island (CCSSRI), examining Rhode Island's involvement in this American tragedy.
