Mill Workers, Fuller Craft Museum, 2011, Art in the Windows, Brockton, MA, fabric dye on cotton gauze panels

The Mill Project

The Mill Project is an ongoing study of the textile industry and it's impact on American culture.

This multimedia exhibition includes artwork, video, archival photographs, historical artifacts, and music. The paintings and printed scrims of 19th century textile workers invoke the atmosphere, rhythms of movement and patterns of labor in the mills.

The Mill Project has traveled to museums, art galleries and historical institutions thought the Northeast. It is a work in progress.
