DROPCLOTHS: TALES OF A PROCESS

I use multiple layers of translucent textile panels, stenciled and silkscreened to create three dimensional spaces.

My process involves stenciling images and textures on fabric. Over time the cloth that protects the print table becomes saturated with these images, but this time in a random way - as accident.

The dropcloths are byproducts. They are spontaneous, not preconceived. The energy created by the combination of diverse subjects with common stories, illustrated on one surface and connected through process, results in an abstraction with its own mystery, language and story.
